The Signal watch was a seemingly normal watch that Superman gave to Jimmy Olsen.
History[]
After freeing Jimmy Olsen from Metallo's clutches,[1] it became clear to Superman that his pal was in danger because of their ties. He gave Jimmy a special watch that could emit a hypersonic signal that only Superman could hear.[1][2]
Superman also gave a watch to Batman,[3] but it was destroyed in a battle with the Imperium before he could use it.[3] Huntress used Jimmy's watch — after capturing him — to contact Superman for help with finding the Question.[4]
