"Remember when everyone liked us?"
— Justice Lord Hawkgirl

In a parallel universe, Hawkgirl was a member of the Justice Lords.

History

Taking Over

Justice Lord Hawkgirl's background was virtually similar as her Justice League counterpart (being from the planet Thanagar) until President Lex Luthor executed a close comrade. After Justice Lord Superman executed the President, the Justice Lords took part in bringing peace to Earth by placing it under their harsh rule. At some point in this period, Justice Lord Hawkgirl shed her traditional costume and replaced it with a new black, long-sleeved one with a hawk's head on her bust, gold bands around her forearms and ankles, and wearing a new mask devoid of flaps on wings format, and also is armed with a Nth metal mace generating blue electricity (instead of white), but she appeared to have a difficult transition from the Lords' "peace" yet also maintains a relationship with the Justice Lord Green Lantern.[1]

Meeting the Justice League

When Justice Lords Batman revealed his interdimensional transport device to the other Justice Lords, Justice Lord Hawkgirl was able to see a parallel universe where their Justice League counterparts, still had the Flash as a member, continued to battle Lex Luthor, and never took control of Earth. She also took part in the planning to transfer the Lords' brand of justice to the universe of the Justice League. During the capture of the Justice League, Justice Lord Green Lantern, after Justice Lord Hawkgirl's observation, blasted the League's Hawkgirl unconscious. After traveling to the Justice League's universe, the Lords almost immediately found themselves battling Doomsday.[1]

Soon after, the Justice Lords occupied the Justice League's Watchtower. When they were alerted that Luthor had escaped from prison, Justice Lord Hawkgirl expressed doubts of executing Luthor but did not attempt to challenge Justice Lord Superman (the Justice Lords' de facto leader). When they arrived, however, they found that the breakout was actually a trap set by the Justice League that had been freed by Justice Lord Batman and returned to their home universe. After she was blasted non-lethally by the Justice League's Green Lantern, Justice Lord Hawkgirl attempted to attack Luthor, he targeted her with his energy disruptor, depriving her of her powers. Soon after, she and the other Justice Lords were returned to their own universe.[2]

Legacy

During the final hours of the Cadmus Crisis, the fused form of Lex Luthor and Brainiac created an android replica of Justice Lord Hawkgirl to attack Shayera Hol.[3]
