History
During a heat wave, a hoodlum busted Myron's store's window and grabbed what he could. Myron swung his cane at him. Marion was worried, and asked him to let the police handle it. The crook beat down the old man, which startled Marion.
Background information
Though unnamed in the movie, Marion is given a name in the comic book adaptation.
