Background information

An army brat, both of whose parents were in show business, MacRae is probably best remembered for her long run as Billie Jo Bradley on the series Petticoat Junction (a role she reprised as a guest star on The Beverly Hillbillies).

Her appearances on Batman: The Animated Series were the second-to-last of her career. Her last was the animated feature Johnny's Golden Quest, where her co-stars included Anndi McAfee, Rob Paulsen, Peter Renaday, Pepe Serna, Jeffrey Tambor, Marcelo Tubert, B.J. Ward, Frank Welker, and JoBeth Williams.

MacRae passed away on July 14, 2000, due to complications from brain cancer.

On the commentary to "On Leather Wings," producer Eric Radomski confessed that he had a crush on MacRae during the making of that episode.
