Miguel Ferrer (born February 7, 1955 in Santa Monica, California - January 19, 2017 in Los Angeles, California) was an American actor. He also voiced the antagonistic Hun leader Shan Yu in Mulan (1998) and Big Boss in Rio 2 (2014). Ferrer died on January 19, 2017 from throat cancer, at the age of 61.

Background information
Born in Santa Monica to acting legend José Ferrer and singer Rosemary Clooney, Miguel Ferrer is an accomplished actor and musician. He started as a musician when his band mate Bill Mumy asked him to play a drummer in the series Sunshine. Ferrer has done a lot of acting since, and some of it in other DC productions: he played the villain "Weatherman" in the infamous Justice League of America pilot, J'onn J'onzz in Justice League: The New Frontier, and Sinestro in The Batman.
He is also notable for being the cousin of actor George Clooney, who portrayed Batman in the 1997 film Batman & Robin.
