Can anyone get a good non-copyrighted image on these guys? I don't have access to the dvds at the moment. I was trying to figure out who they were for weeks, I had only seen Khunds in totally different outfits, and they normaly have magenta skin. Finally found a comics image that matched the designs today and had to add the article. Mystery solved! Robottroubles 08:13, June 2, 2010 (UTC)Robottroubles

They were a mystery to me too, but I never really gave them a thought.
There's no such thing as "non-copyrighted image". All our images, all the names, events et cetera, are copyrighted by DC and Warner. Like any fan wiki, everything is held up by the assumption of fair use, provided that the image is properly tagged.
What comic did you find that image in? I'd like to check myself just to be sure :)
I'll see if I can get a good image later today, I'm not at home at the moment. The image you uploaded is a bit too small. -- Tupka217 08:31, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

Ah, guess I should have said "image not taken from another site", not non-copyrighted. Silly of me. Found the match tooling around the mainstream DC wiki, then did some google searches to be sure. Here's the rapsheet.uk link, the image is a dead-on match, right down to that one red eye, except for the skin: http://www.rapsheet.co.uk/rapsheetmain/Character5.asp?UniqueId=1142 , and another here: http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/2/25810/513387-khunds_wwl49_large.jpg

though this scene, from JLI #24 had been my only other experience with the Khunds, looking very different: http://www.asitecalledfred.com/comics101/images/2005/apr27/khunds.jpg (the story there being that after the Invasion! storyline, a few Khund warriors had gotten themselves shrunk down and snuck into the JLI embassy. Unfortunatley they planned their assault the same day the team was having a recruitment drive where emotions were high...the amassed heroes had quite a field day pummeling the invaders! I believe the next panel is Guy Gardener saying "Hey...those guys were Khunds!" and everyone racing after them).

And of course, the 90's: 200px-Khunds_004.jpg.

So...there have been a few looks, but the 3 seconds in "Shadow of the Hawk" definitley match up with the one of the versions, except the blasted things are supposed to be some shade of pink. Robottroubles 09:06, June 2, 2010 (UTC)robottroubles
