Origin[]

I just watched "The Cat and the Claw" (both parts) and I don't recall hearing mention of Red Claw's origin. Does anyone recall this ever being established? I ask only because her accent (as far as the DCAU is concerned) sounds Kasnian, which wouldn't be out of line with everything established about the country before Audrey's rule (Penguin/Thorne dealt weapons to the Kasnian's in MotB, the underground actions under Savage and Vox, etc). However, I don't want to throw needless conjecture into this article.

So do we know where she's from?

I don't think that was ever mentioned. ― Thailog 11:53, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
It could be any eastern European accent. We don't have any onscreen info or comments from the creators, so I think that makes it unfounded conjecture. --BoneGnawer 12:08, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Gotcha. Glad I checked. - NakedSamurai 19:55, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

She once mentioned something of eatern Europe when she said something like "our Eastern labs", in the "Cat And The Claw Part 1". I don't remember exactly what she said, someone should watch the episode again and look out for any references to Eastern Europe.

Quote[]

I just wanted to run this by everybody as a possible replacement for her "You've met your match" taunt. Is it too specific (a quote that directly addresses Catwoman by name - or nickname - sounds just a bit awkward to me) or just right?

"For years, I fought to build my network. I brought countries to their knees! You will pay, pussycat! You will learn why everyone fears Red Claw!"

It may be a little too much... I'd go with either "I brought countries to their knees!" or "You will learn why everyone fears Red Claw!". I like the former one better. ― Thailog 19:02, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Military Base[]

Red Claw and her terrorist organization didn't build the military base, they actually just found it there. She specifically says that it was an abandoned U.S. facility in the episode. Atypicaloracle (talk) 17:28, October 16, 2012 (UTC)
