After his plan to pressure director G. Carl Francis into cooperating failed, Joker set his sights on Thomas Jackson. The police and Batman stepped in to help him. As part of the protection, Batman dressed up as Jackson, while Jackson wore a Batsuit. However, Joker used Jackson's cat to deliver a fish full of Joker venom to his owner. Jackson was infected, but Batman was able to administer the antidote immediately.
