Waverider was a member of the Justice League after the Thanagarian invasion.

History[]

He was present at Superman's speech to the newly expanded Justice League. He was suspiciously looking at other Leaguers, most notably Atom-Smasher.[1]

Waverider often worked from the Watchtower, where he had been seen eating in the cafeteria.[2]

He was also present at Superman's announcement of the Justice League's second reformation and the planned Metro Tower.[3]

Background information[]

  • Though this character's name is not mentioned on screen, he bears physical likeliness to the DC Comics version of Waverider. However, a Mattel JLU action figure three-pack confirmed the figure and character's name is Waverider.
  • The DC Comics version of Waverider was Matthew Ryder, a human scientist from the year 2030. He was fused into the time-stream in order to go back in time and prevent a hero from becoming the evil Monarch, who ruled the world of 2030.
